The gradient orange shade is even prettier in person than in the photos — it shifts from pale yellow into orange-red, and once lit the layering of colour is superb. The body is stable and doesn't wobble; the light leans warm rather than white and isn't harsh, so it works for late-night TV or getting up in the night. The retro style suits a bedroom.
